Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd (FHI), the maker of Subaru cars has recently introduced its New Additional Model in the Subaru Impreza WRX STI: A-Line. Improvements were made from the original Subaru Impreza WRX STI.
The new A Line is powered by a distinctive 2.5 litre Horizontally-Opposed 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve BOXER turbocharged engine comes from a single scroll turbocharger and produces a flat torque from the low and mid-rev range to high-rev range. The Displacement is 2,457cc with maximum output of 221kW (300 PS)/6,200 rpm and maximum torque of 350 Nm (35.7 kgf.m)/2,800-6,000 rpm. Dual Active Valve Control System (AVCS) was used to control valve timing on intake and exhaust valves, giving improvement over low and mid range torque, high-rev range output making it more environment friendly. On top of that, the Tumble Generation Valve (TGV) controls the intake air stream to generate high conbustion efficiency.
SI-DRIVE (SUBARU Intelligent Drive) is used, enabling the drives to choose 3 diferent engine mappings with paddle shift which allow manual shifting without releasing the steering wheel. Downshifting Blipping Control System was introduced which increases engine revolutions instantly when down-shifting to exact required setting. Variable Torque Distribution (VTD) was put into place, giving outstanding stability. 17-inches ventilated dual piston disk brakes for front wheel with 16-inches ventilated disk brakes for the rear.
Interiorily, soft leather door trim with silver stitch gives a better feature with leather seats as an option. 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat is standard.
