Kurnia Insurans (M) Berhad has launched an immediate settlement for motor claims which is known as Kurnia Express (KE) Services. It represents the ultimate in speed & convenience on Own Damage Claim for Private Car and Windscreen. Below are the guides.

 

Private Car Own Damage Claim – Conditions

 

  • Only for Private Car Comprehensive policyholder
  • Maximum claim amount is up to RM3,000
  • Vehicle to be at any Kurnia branches within 48 hours from the time of accident.
  • The vehicle driver and the owner must present to sign relevants documents.
  • Company has obsolute discretion over the decision to process and approve any claim as Kurnia Express Private Car Own Damage.

Step to be taken:

 

Step 1: Contact Kurnia Auto Assist at 1-800-88-3833 or any Kurnia branches immediately after the accident

 

Step 2: Lodge a police report

 

Step 3: Bring the vehicle to the nearest Kurnia branch together with below documents:

 

  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card
  • Identity Card & Driving License of the vehicle owner
  • Identity Card and Driving License of the driver (if different from the owner)
  • Police Report or Slip (must contain Police Report No.)

Immediate payment will be given once the claim is approved and relevant documents are signed, in the form of a cheque or direct deposit of cheque into bank account.

 

Windscreen Claim – Conditions

 

  • Only for Private Car & Commercial Vehicle, with extended insurance coverage for windscreen (Endorsement 89).
  • Maximum claim amount is up to RM5,000
  • Vehicle to be at any Kurnia branches within 48 hours from the time of accident.
  • The vehicle driver and the owner must present to sign relevants documents.
  • Company has obsolute discretion over the decision to process and approve any claim as Kurnia Express Windscreen claim.
  • If Repair: Claim amount will be deducted from the initial sum insured for the said windscreen. The balance sum insured remains unless reinstated by paying additional premium.
  • If Replace: Windscreen benefit automatically terminates upon claim unless reinstated by paying additional premium.

Step to be taken:

 

Step 1: After the accident, take photographs of the damaged windscreen as below:

 

  • Close up view showing windscreen logo/brand
  • Full view of the vehicle with registration no.
  • Close up view clearly depiciting the damaged windscreen area.

 

Step 2: Proceed for repair or replacement at any repairer of your choice.

 

Step 3: Bring the vehicle after repair or replacement to the nearest Kurnia branches for photograph to be taken together with below documents:

 

  • Copy of Vehicle Registration Card
  • Identity Card & Driving License of the vehicle owner
  • Identity Card and Driving License of the driver (if different from the owner)
  • Official receipt on replacement or repair of windscreen
  • Photographs before repair

Immediate payment will be given once the claim is approved and relevant documents are signed, in the form of a cheque or direct deposit of cheque into bank account.
